Works of art and sacred furnishing were realized for the competition for the construction of Naples’ new church of Madonna del Carmine at Santa Maria la Carità

In the design of the work of art, great significance was given to the representation of the Madonna del Carmelo. The Madonna was painted in tempera on plaster on a wall panel. This material recalls the frescoes of Roman mural paintings of the neighbouring Stabia and Pompei villas.
